Detailing & Paint Decontamination
Taking cleaning beyond the surface to extract embedded iron, tar, and chemical contaminants.
Surface Contamination Explained
Even if a vehicle looks clean from a distance, its paint is constantly subjected to airborne pollutants. When you brake, tiny hot iron particles fly off brake discs and embed themselves directly into your vehicle's clear coat. Over time, these particles oxidise (rust), swelling up and leaving tiny rough orange spots that standard washing cannot remove.
Our detailing processes use chemical fall-out removers and mechanical clay treatment to dissolve and glide these contaminants off the surface, restoring physical smoothness and allowing defensive waxes or coatings to bond correctly.
Note on Paint Correction: We avoid claims of "perfect paint correction" or removing very deep key marks. Paint safety is our primary focus. We can safely refine surface haze and light swirls, but we always prioritize paint thickness preservation over high-risk cutting.
Our In-Depth Process Steps
Full Pre-Inspection
We evaluate your vehicle using high-intensity inspection lights and digital paint depth gauges. This determines the clear coat thickness and helps us decide how much safe paint refinement is possible.
Deep Pre-Wash & Multi-Bucket Contact Wash
A safe wash sequence is executed to eliminate any loose surface grit, mud, and dust, leaving only bonded materials for the subsequent stages.
Chemical Decontamination
We apply specialized pH-balanced chemical solutions that target iron brake dust and road tar. These dissolve and bleed off the panels safely without physical agitation.
Mechanical Clay Bar Treatment
A dedicated clay bar lubricant is applied to glide a detailing clay bar over the panel surfaces. This safely collects microscopic tree sap, industrial fallout, and overspray that survived the chemical stage.
Optional Safe Polishing
Using carefully selected dual-action machines and fine polish compounds, we refine mild paint haze, restoring high surface gloss and depth. This depends heavily on paint depth inspection results.
Protection Layer Preparation
All polish oils are chemically wiped down with a panel solvent, leaving paint completely bare and optimized for your choice of defensive sealants, waxes, or ceramic coatings.
