For standard commuter vehicles used regularly on UK motorways or major A-roads, we recommend a safe exterior wash every two to three weeks. In winter, when road grit and corrosive salt are sprayed daily, a weekly rinse or wash is recommended to prevent underbody salt accumulation.
Road salt is highly hydroscopic and chemically aggressive. It holds moisture directly against your steel panels and steel components underneath the car, which can accelerate rust formation. Regular underbody rinses are highly recommended during sub-zero periods.
No. Ceramic coatings create a very thin, hardened sacrificial shield that reduces micro-swirls during washing, but they cannot prevent mechanical scratches from contact with keys, heavy shrubs, or large gravel impacts.
Valeting focuses primarily on cleaning—removing mud, dust, vacuuming interiors, and cleaning window glass. Detailing focuses on deeper correction and protection, such as multi-stage chemical decontamination, claying, paint thickness analysis, and structural coating applications.
We use deep extraction washing and specialized cleaning agents to address the root sources of bad smells (such as spilled food or damp). However, complete, guaranteed removal depends entirely on the fabric type, how deep the substance penetrated, and how long it has been present.
Pet hair features fine barbs that lock into car carpets. We utilize specialized extraction brushes and tools to lift as much hair as physically possible. However, total 100% extraction can rarely be guaranteed due to variations in carpet weaves.
If a scratch has penetrated the clear coat and reached the coloured base paint or the grey primer beneath, it cannot be safely polished out. Polishing only thins the surrounding clear coat. These deep scratches require touch-up paint or traditional body shop spray work.
Yes. Vintage, single-stage paint requires cautious hand methods and soft foam pads rather than aggressive modern cutting techniques. We carefully gauge paint thickness and adjust our approach after an inspection.

No. We operate purely on an enquiry-and-inspection basis. This website is informational; we do not collect online payments or process bookings electronically. Pricing and service scopes are finalized only after a physical vehicle evaluation.
If your paint's clear coat is actively flaking or peeling, mechanical polishing cannot restore it. In fact, machine polishing will expand the damage. The only lasting remedy for peeling clear coat is professional body shop repainting.
It depends heavily on the vehicle's size and condition. A full decontamination and protective sealant application generally requires a minimum of one full day. More complex paint refinement plans can take several days to execute safely.
To ensure we can dedicate undivided attention to every vehicle, our studio operates on a strict pre-scheduled appointment basis. Please submit an online enquiry form to request a visual inspection appointment.
We use dedicated pH-neutral leather cleaners that lift dirt and oils out of the natural skin grain. This is followed by dry-to-the-touch conditioners that keep the leather soft and prevent cracking from drying, without leaving a slippery, artificial sheen.
